She said the current administration gives Netanyahu a blank check. And she said her administration should have acted sooner and more forcefully. She spoke at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Most of her speech was about AI. But this criticism comes as she thinks about running for president in 2028. Progressive voters are angry about Gaza. Biden supported Israel strongly after October 7. This cost Democrats votes. Harris didnt distance herself from Biden during the campaign. But now she says the US should have put more pressure on Israel to avoid civilian deaths. She also wrote in her memoir that Biden's remarks about innocent Palestinians came off as inadequate.
