I love the way this character looks.

It's been a few years, but the show jumps in pretty much where we left off, with our 4 B Teamers getting promoted to the U-18 A Team.

Our protagonist Ao Ashito, is managing to keep up, but his 3 friends...

Ouch.

That's kind of how the brutal world of professional youth development soccer works.

I love the contrast of this show's sticking to feeling real, vs. Blue Lock's soccer "death matches" and super powers.

This season, Ashito's "crow vision" has been de-emphasized in favor of the honing of more conventional soccer instincts.

But it's still a blast to watch.
