It's true. We all assumed that Spot was able to get out of Data's quarters due to that anomaly, but cats just do that

Do you think doing so would take away one of the cats 9 lives each time?

Or does each clone get it's own separate set of 9 lives?

Each clone gets the same number of lives preserved from the original, of course. A clone doesn't take a life away form the original.

You should be focusing on what happens when the transporter kills the original. That's where the situation gets iffy.
