Almost everyone i know has a combo of both. Its a cheap hobby....to get into. Then you suddenly have 10 of the things.

Iam just start reading to install reticulum on a lilygo t beam supreme, almost nobody here uses meshtastic.
Heres a link to the world map .
Not everbody or nodes are on it ,only 2 of my 6 devices are registert

Ha! nice.

I have mostly heltec v3s and they suck at certain voltages. But they are cheap and easy to work with. And run all kinds of meshes and projects.

Ha nice! Yeah I want to do more with it but the setup takes FOREVER. Nice collection.

The seeds are better than the heltecs my opinion if I remember correctly. Power draw is less(?)

biggest issue with all those heltecs at a certain voltage it just cuts out. So my solar setup goes dark in the mornings and afternoons.

Seeed solar is never below 94%.,
havent got experience with low winter temp and charging

T1000e , 2 days max.
Wio 3 days.
Heltec v4 as repeater with a bat.3000 mAh about 2 days.
Try to connect solar to battery, use a solar regulator if nessesary.
Try this link for more info

Thanks but the last thing I want to do is buy more to fix haha. At this point, im just making like ebook reader stuff with them and custom projects. I just wont buy heltecs for mesh projects that need to sit around remote work.

But thanks for the link! You should post here 😉

thats super impressive with the seed solar!

Its all good. It was mostly a 'can I do it' project. Its just strange two people did it so quick haha. As with most ideas, someone else had it probably.
