I don't know how I feel. If these laws harm big tech... But they set bad privacy precedent....

You should oppose age verification because it will make it harder to run Piefed instances.

They don't harm big tech. Big tech are lobbying for this change. They do it to so instead of actually making their platforms less harmful (to people of all ages) they shift blame to users.

Big tech is getting the contracts to collect data for verification services. This is a win for big tech.

May sound like a noble cause on a surface level, but unfortunately it's yet another move for big tech to track our every move and control our lives.

Does Greece care about privacy enough to protest?

Where I am, most ppl don't care or think twice about proving who they are.
