The style is called "NeuBrutalism" I still did not made the dark mode but i plan to! It will require me some more work I think since dark mode is harder to make look good, IMO, and i am also not a designer Edit: spelling |

FTFY: https://neubrutalism.com/ I love that style, I didn't know it had a name. It looks like that "monospace black and white terminal" style with a name that I forgot, but it's flexible and full of colors. Like a mix of monospace but not monospace, 8-bit NES (Nintendo) style, and simple but not simple. I'll try to see if there is a template like this for my blog. |

Oh yeah, i forgot to add https:// at the start of the URL thx. Btw, if you find that design name u'd like to know about it! It's prolly releated to TUIs so if you remember any keyword try searching for [key word] TUI design Also, that reminded me of monaspace, it's a monospaced font family that uses ligatures to fix some issues with monospace |

I mean, I really have no objection. I am of the opinion that a significant majority of things really are overdesigned these days, especially from a user interface perspective and especially on the web. And that's a curious position to have given that a significant portion of my day job involves web and user interface design. So trust me, my own website isn't much more modern looking. The one I maintain for my day job is but disgustingly enough it has to be, otherwise a broad cross section of the (l)user base would get turned off by its visuals and assume we're not a legitimate company or something. But if it makes you feel any better my static content actually is static. No React, no jquery, no frameworks, no popovers, no spinning loading placeholders or elements jumping all around the page when rendering should have been completed ten seconds ago. |

Thank god, someone that makes static pages be actually static still exist ❤️ |
