The slightly longer version: For at least a few weeks, Agaamuza and his friends put a mustache and giant chain necklace on the robot, call him “Ahmad the Robot,” and film people’s reactions to the robot thrusting, dancing, punching the sky, walking into stores, etc. Most of these videos are annoying but not illegal. They are very much a part of YouTube / Twitch “prank” culture, in which men—almost always men—film themselves hitting on women, interviewing people outside of bars, and doing stupid shit in public. Agaamuza and “Ahmad the Robot” have become minor characters in the German Twitch streaming world over the last few weeks.
