This only took about 5-6 hours to make. All the land data, bathymetry, buoys, etc. are all accurate. The boat is a replica of a real schooner and you have full sail control (or autopilot). The physics of the sails is modeled. Seagulls, even a shark out there somewhere.

When has anyone ever changed their behavior because a stranger online scolded them for it? If you absolutely must signal your opposition to AI, just say "Boo AI" and move on. It accomplishes the exact same thing of letting everyone know you're one of the good guys so they can hand you the upvotes you're after.

So like... there's actual wind simulation hitting the sails and the ship moving based on that? Interesting concept for a game.

Yes, and you can choose four different “sailing days,” where the wind characteristics are different, and therefore require different sail trimming. The waves can also be adjusted, and are also affected by the wind.

Yeah, it looks like vibe slop. But It also looks like you found a niche that didn't have something you wanted, and manifested it for your personal use, so that's kinda neat. Thanks for sharing despite the animosity. I share the anti-slop sentiment, but at least you're not trying to sell it.

I'd get pretty motion sick on this, like with almost any forced movement, but maybe that actually increases the realism for a boating sim?
