Theme: MonsterMash - yay, the only day of this contest where mashing soaps won't get you DQed. So, I don't really have any "Halloween" soaps; I'm punting with Fall scents that either sound or smell scary. This is a combination of BaM War and DG Daemon in about a 1:3 parts mix. This mash wasn't that bad. I guess the daemon won the war. Floïd made it better.

Daily Challenge: Sell It - Is your beard out of control? Is your face hellish? USE ABADDON by BDSM-G to smite your whiskers right into the bottomless pit. Label

Marketing strategy: use a team of 42 agents to generate a massive amount of slop. Get Fbook accounts and form a community. Iterate over the theme of whiskers being action verbed off your face. Sell 3.5oz tubs for $40 but if you act now, BOGO FREE.

Theme justification - Today I'm combining Chiseled Face Apples of Aetherwood and Southern Witchcrafts Gravefruit II. CF markets AoA as a summer scent, which I find confusing given it's a soap built on apples and spices. Most apples are harvested in the fall, so I place this fragrance firmly in fall territory.

Gravefruit II was a seasonal SW release that their own listing pitches for “crisp autumn weather.” Together it's spiced apple cider with a grapefruit twist with incense underneath. I’m calling it Honeycrisp Homicide.

Relevant Post Shave or Frag - SW once described Autumn Ash as “the quintessential Fall fragrance.” Maple, smoke, pumpkin, ash, dirt. If a fragrance can be on theme by itself, this is it.

Daily challenge - Skipped today, I didn't get a chance to shave until after midnight.

$FOF - I didn’t have high hopes for a grapefruit and apple soap, but I was pleasantly surprised. Grapefruit was strong at first, but it eventually faded and the apple and spice from Aetherwood came forward. I probably wouldn’t want a tub of it, but I enjoyed the combination well enough.

Gothorum Tonstrina was a great palate cleanser. Clean, powdery barbershop with a bit of musk. Much calmer than the soap combo.

Finally: Autumn Ash, with smoke, maple and wet leaves. A bit of plum and dirt underneath. There's something about this fragrance that I find indescribable. It reminds me of mornings spent around a wood-fired stove, and the rich stink of decaying leaves.

Unfortunately the soap and splash give me frag burn, so I'm grateful to u/SamIAmShepard for the bottle of EdP. It's one I really cherish.
