I’m feeling bias towards Lowden. He looks good and I love the idea of him going from Slough House to 007. I don’t like Turner. I think “one night only” made me hate everything about him. Don’t even know O’Connor. |

Turner is a villain, someone on par with Bond. A bit like Trevalyan to Bond. That's how I see him. Josh O'Connor is more a Mr Moneypenny. My choice is on Lowden, not only because I'd like to see him in a proper action role, but also for exactly the reason you have with Slough House. Honestly, I think I would have preferred a Black Bond, or maybe even Riz Ahmed, but it's slim pickings now Elba and Ejiofor have aged out of the role. |

Completely agree. Only Lowden has the charm and the sophisticated looks and boyish charm of the pick. The other two are great actors, and you have described their vibes better than I could. I also think they just don’t have the all round looks of bond. I will say I didn’t like Daniel Craig as the choice when it came out, however he turned out to be the best bond IMO, so bond can bring a surprise. |

Daniel Craig is certainly up there but there's a strong list of contenders. I still have a soft spot for Brosnan - Die Another Day was not his fault but I do blame Hollywood for that disaster of a Bond film. Goldeneye for me is still one of the best Bond movies. Dalton has too few a films, and he was damned good. Connery, is Connery....if anyone ever argues with you that Connery is the best bond, on balance of all things filmic, they're probably right and you're arguing for the fun of it. You can't take away what Connery did for the role but the others listed here certainly gave excellent interpretations of the character. |

I have a like of them all, but Brosnan is a no for me, the Americans make a mockery. After Craig I do think Connery. Then Moore. I like Brianne in most of his other stuff Esp Mobland at the mo. |

I would go with Jack Lowden. Ten or more years ago I would have picked Henry Cavill or Tom Hardy. In fact, I'd still pick both of them today to play the role one time as aged Bonds. But, they're too old now to carry the franchise forward, especially if it's going to be multiple years between movies. The other two names are too skinny in the face, to put it bluntly. They don't look physically threatening. They look more cerebral. |
