On machines where you start Steam manually in order to play a game, do you keep Steam running in the background after play session is over? Meaning if you no longer play any game for the moment, and just keep it running to be ready. Or do you close Steam, after the play session?

it doesn't open on startup, but when I play a game I leave it open for later

That's weird. Are you using a VPN? It's the first time I did not messed it up and allowed VPN users right from the start. Otherwise I don't know why it would think you voted already.

If I'm not using it, I shut it down. Steam. Web browser. Any GUI program.
