I'd say more than an "I guess", myself. One of the things I've been a little happier to expose myself to lately (and why this Inktober community is so great) is amateur art that is simply not very polished. I've had a moderately-long history with enjoying "bad art" (mostly on the "bad games" side of things but truly terrible fanfic is a blessing I tell you hwat) but I've grown to like it a lot more recently just to get away from all the witchunters. A lot of friends/acquaintances are surprisingly not open to unpolished art and it kind of baffles me when they are always decrying genAI.
