Better download and back up any games you've claimed like this though You will continue to have full access to the games you purchased after Legacy’s closure. Our servers will still be active and you will be able to download your games until February 28, 2027. Any games you download and install will be yours to keep forever. However, if the games are uninstalled after February 28, 2027, you wil...

I actually did some investigation on this over the weekend: Legacy officially only has a Windows client, and their official statement only talks about being able to install your games until they close down (i.e. nothing about backing up installers, though I assume they end up on your computer somewhere). That said, I found heirloom-gm, a CLI tool that I was able to run in a container (with only a few minor teething problems) which let me download all the installer files to back up. I've even been able to play a couple of the point-and-click games on my phone using GameNative! |

thanks for the response, i have downloaded them all using this shell script: i got it from datahoarders subreddit. once you get it to run (i had to ask deepseek how to do that, windows is really awkward around shell scripts), it asks for your email and password, and it auto downloads all your games. |
