When you look at how much these cost...

The savings from not having a human in there is basically zero. Even if the train 100% drives itself, put a human with an emergency stop in there just in case.

If this is an effort to expand transit infrastructure then great. But it's not, it's an effort to shave further pennies off the country with the worst transit infrastructure in the developed world.
