So I've never milked a cow before but I completely agree with you that my first instinct is to pull, so non-pullable teats is a design flaw.

But then I looked online and it seems that for a real teat the instructions say, "Don't pull".

So maybe, just maybe, the warnings are there to teach the proper way to milk a BBQ sauce teat.
