There are some very old games that were good but also forgotten by circumstances. I’ll never forget about Nocturne (PC, 1999) by Terminal Reality. It was obviously inspired by Resident Evil origins. The game had big flaws tho: gameplay and controls were clunky and not good and there were many bugs.

But the game itself as in story, lore, characters and enemies design and atmosphere was incredible for its time, you could say it was ahead of its time. This is one of those games i still pray that somehow gets picked up and rebuild in these modern times for a full remake a la Resident Evil 4 or Silent Hill style quality.
