Choking someone high is a weird concept. Requires unneccesary arm strength (unless you're a jedi, in which case you levitate them like a baby), and it forces them to look down on you

I get that in the context of the choker not having super powers, but in the context of a jedi it makes no sense because it's clearly not arm or hand strength:
