That was exactly the plan.

And Obama reauthorized it with NO CHANGES in 2010 and then signed a full renewal in 2011. The machine will continue until an actual champion of hope and change gains power.

V for Vendetta hit theaters 4 years after 9/11 and even though it was an old story, those of us who’d protested the war in Iraq and before that, Bush’s steeling of the election, saw ourselves in that story.

Same as with all the children-safety bullshit lately. They intentionally name it something that you would be insane to disagree with. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU ARE AGAINST THE CHILD SAFETY ACT, ARE YOU A PEDOPHILE?" No, I just refuse to scan my face for my 19 year old e-mail account you dickhead.

His message was hope. As in, I hope the US doesn't disappear you into another country and torture you to death.
