Seriously, I have been medicated for a few years now and been working hard to get diet and exercise right.

It's such a big deal and absolutely can and will kill you. He was only a year older than me!

His voice will be dearly missed! He truly was one of the modern voice acting greats, a massive loss to the voice acting industry.

He’s of Filipino descent. Heart disease is the leading cause of death of Filipinos. Every Filipino I know has high blood pressure.

While Filipinos living in Philippines have a difficult time obtaining health care, health education, and access (to things like maintenance medication), he’s not living in the Philippines. He most definitely had access to healthcare and medications. A darn shame for sure.

I believe this man was Canadian and it was a big honour for him to take on those roles voicing multiple characters alone like the original Mel Blanc.

This is very tragic and honestly avoidable. My heart goes out to his family and everyone.

You have no idea how he was trying to deal with these problems. People can respond with all that and still die, but here at Lemmy we like to blame people who have disease.

Was more of a general reminder for everyone else in the world who may still be alive and dealing with this. Not reprimanding Bauza, obviously.

Yeah... only a few years older from me. I started having some mild health issues these past few years which I never had anything my entire life prior to this. Idk if its because of that but I have serious issues changing or even taking my meds despite knowing it will lead to more issues sooner by doing so. Seeing stuff like this is kind of a reality check sadly. I do hope to get my shit together sooner than later. I really dont care to die in my 40's or 50's if I can help it.
