After months of my e-mailing with a known owner of the tape, we finally have access to a rip of the It’s Fun To Steal LP Sampler, including its Backstabbing Liar Demo. Here’s the raw rip here: https://www.ufp.org/~bicknell/monopuff/ Unfortunately, the rip the guy made is kind of crappy, taken with a 2000s-era tape backup machine with horrible compression and too fast tape playback. Luckily, good ol’ Peter Gritsch has done a remaster to make the tape’s most important demo more listenable, at least until I can convince the tape owner to do a better-quality rip. |
