The CPDP (Computers, Privacy and Data Protection) 20th international conference will take place from March 8 to 11, 2027. Organised by 20 academic centres of excellence from the EU, the US, and beyond, CPDP is a multidisciplinary platform founded in 2007 and based in Brussels. The 2027 edition focuses on the theme "What We Owe the Future," addressing fragmented digital governance, the pace of technological development relative to regulatory frameworks, and long-term data protection principles. The event also introduces "CPDP 20: The Next Generation," a programme co-curated by early-career researchers to identify emerging cross-disciplinary questions.
