In Utah someone was jailed for posting a factual sign on a light pole.

That's a remarkably well-written article.

I love that they contrast the guy getting arrested for putting up a sign, which is not illegal (did not even block the camera), and the passive acceptance of law-breaking by police using ALPR cameras.
