I'd let him; look at all the stuff he's already gathered! Glad you love your part time vomit machine. |

There is the rare trail cat. They were often raised in it from kittens tho. |

I took my 16yo cat on a summer-long camping trip this year. She had never been camping before, but she loved it so much! |

That's so cool! How were you able to keep track of her? I'd be scared that my cat would find a mouse somewhere and get lost far away from home :( |

That's such a valid fear! I didn't let her walk outside. I'd put her in a pet backpack for hikes or her carrier for tent teardown and such. There was a couple times when she tried to catch things burrowing under the tent, but I keep her nails nice and short so there was no damage to the tent. She was so much more chill about it than I expected. I had gotten some of those calming treats with melatonin, but never ended up needing them. That black and green thing in the background is a portable litter box with a pop-up enclosure. I had her start using it about 3 weeks before the trip, just to minimize the amount of new things for her which I think also helped keep her calm |

Btw, vomiting is a vulnerable experience, maybe he feels 🤢 safer on your bed Still worth moving him to the floor and making sure he feels safe there instead |
