Hello All,

PCB design, RISC-V, and full open source hardware/software stack development was the previous topic, which despite this being a page for autism, had a fair amount of interest the last few times I posted this.

You don't need to have much prior knowledge other than a willingness to learn and collaborate with the folks that join us in this endeavor.

Some programs include:
KiCAD (FOSS EDA software for PCB design)
OpenFOAM (FOSS CFD software)
Calculix (FOSS FEM software)
FreeCAD (FOSS CAD)

All chips and components on the board should have open schematics, widely accessible, and the boards can be sourced from one of several different suppliers.

Firmware is another topic.

Sincerely enjoyed the dialogues and friendships I met on here. If you're interested, just comment or send me a DM so that I can get you into the Matrix chat. Looking forward to what we build together.

-G

Yeah, i mean, I'm just starting down a road of general electronics repair so this sounds way out of my depth... but love to learn deeply
