Awareness was lowest regarding cyclist priority, with only 21 per cent knowing that cyclists may pass slow-moving or stationary traffic on either side of a vehicle.

I cycle to work and honestly didn't know I can pass on BOTH sides. I usually overtake on the right when nothing is coming the other way.

Once had a guy on a motorbike scream incoherently at me for doing it, while he was doing literally the same thing.
