I thought Joel would be first with injuries. but this genuinely sucks for Pacers, and NBA fans. I was looking forward to see the new competitive East.

It is troubling that Haliburton gets back from 16 months away from basketball and immediately starts having injury issues. I would assume that he recovered from his Achilles injury at the end of last season but, since the team was already tanking, he took his time working himself back into shape over the last 6 months.

Did he spend the last 16 months confined to bed rest and go straight from the hospital to training camp? Was the plan for him to play himself back into shape?
