Steelseries is Danish. I don't have a mouse from them but I do have a keyboard and ear buds and they're solid. They have a pretty wide range of mice available so there's probably one to fit your needs.

Endgame Gear is German. I really like their shape, because it's wider than most other mice.

Then there's the Logitech g pro x superlight which was very popular among enthusiasts a couple of years ago. I'm not up to date about the most recent trends though

I do play on a steel series mouse, it's great, much more durable than razer products I've owned.

Logitech is not mostly European, though

I’ve been very happy with Logitech’s gaming mice. I’ve been using the G502 and G502 Lightspeed for years now and haven’t had any major issues, though I think these models aren’t produced anymore and I haven’t used their successors.

The company is Swiss, but also operates in the US (listed on both country’s major stock exchanges), so they might not be what you’re looking for. The products are primarily made in China. I’m not aware of any gaming mice being actually made in Europe.

Logi started to suck a few years ago. I used to use their products for a long time but then they started failing just after warranty periods or they were buggy without fixes. It's sad that such a good company went to sh.. So fast..

You can try roccat. My info is quite a few years out of date but they used to make pretty good mice. Think they're german

There are unfortunately no gaming mice made in Europe. End Game Gear makes nice wired esports-centric mice and are based in Germany 🇩🇪, not made in Europe though.

If you do want the closest thing to a made in Europe mouse, the Fair mouse by NagerIT (unrelated to Fairphone) has many parts made in Germany 🇩🇪, but not all (they are super transparent about what comes from where), but it's definitely not a gaming mouse. It could be nice for non-gaming use cases though, and it comes in fun colours too

edit: Here is a chart that NagerIT made detailing what parts are made from where: https://www.nager-it.de/static/pdf/en_lieferkette.pdf

German version if you want that: https://www.nager-it.de/static/pdf/lieferkette.pdf

I would recommend against Logitech, as it's part American, and they floated the idea of a subscription-based "forever mouse" (not a good look at all)

I mean, BMW proposed a subscription to heated seats that were already in the car, turns out big corporations are often very greedy

I need to remind myself that not all shit like this gets through. But still, the fact that it gets proposed in the first place, in all seriousness and with a straight face, is insanely maddening

I used to buy everything from Roccat, but they got acquired by Turtle Beach (which is an American company)

Not European ( geographically actually the opposite, being based in New Zealand 😅) but not American either. I have very good experience with the Swiftpoint Z2 and can wholeheartedly recommend it! Not cheap an shipping takes a while, but its customizability is just awesome!

They messed up a bit with that mouse line that had a mesh top, you could never clean them, and stuff fell in them all the time.

Oh, haven't heard about that brand before! Looks like they do manufacture their mice in Germany 🇩🇪, albeit they focus on tiny fingertip mice.

The proposal, which luckily received enough flak to be put down, was that if the original owner doesn't buy the car with heated seats, the next one can just get it as a subscription. So at least you're getting the car for a little bit smaller markup if you don't get the heated seats option. Though it's still incredibly dishonest because it turns out that it's cheaper for them to just install heated seats in every single car anyway, so why not just make them standard at that point and raise each car's price by like a hundred euros.

Logitech went even worse than that, the subscription was supposed to give you... software updates????? Why are those behind a subscription? I don't even use logi link or whatever it was called and I don't see myself paying for updates to that. What kind of software could a mouse have that its updates are worth any amount of recurring payment?

Swiss-American. You're still inflating American pensioners retirement funds if you buy their products, same as with all big American companies. With this one you'll just help the Swiss out a bit as well.

Alza sells Eternico mouses/keyboards. It's their in house brand. It's kind of Czech/European made, but in reality it "Made in China" on the bottom.

I'm curious about this as well, but I really doubt that any electornics, like mouses/keyboards are really made in Europe. At least designed in Europe doesn't count for me as European made.

BMW charges a euro per blink on turn signals.

I have heard that Saab could have built the best version of 9-3 for the price of the cheapest 9-3 if they only had one variant of everything. Not sure if that is true but increasing the number of variants is increasing the price. It's not only about the cost of the part, it also increases the workload of the design, purchasing from supplier, testing, factory and aftermarket.

So I'm not surprised that it is cheaper for BMW to install it in every car.
