I finally want to play this, but I don't feel confortable with Denuvo. Unfortunately I bought the game on Steam way before I cared about DRM.

I read about the "leaked" unprotected .exe that was used to crack the game ahead of launch and I was wondering if FG's repack using CODEX's release is the one based on that unprotected .exe so I can grab that to play without installing Denuvo.

Isn't the whole point of cracks removing DRM? It has been a while since I played games containing Denuvo but I believe the cracks strip it out.

In the past, before Denuvo? Yes, but Denuvo is another beast and cracks are mostly bypasses (Denuvo still present, and its checks are spoofed) if I'm not mistaken
