#OtD 29 Oct 1940 in France, Iranian Muslim diplomat Abdol Hossein Sardari wrote to the Vichy govt to argue that Jews from Central Asia were not really Jewish under Nazi race laws, which was eventually agreed. He also helped up to 2000 Jews escape stories.workingclasshistory.co
