Maybe I’m just too stuck on the original series, but I’m kinda bummed that newer versions (like Burton’s Wednesday) treat Grandma Addams as Morticia’s mom instead of Gomez’s.

In the OG series, Grandma was always Gomez’s mother . It fit perfectly with the family’s dynamic. Now it feels confusing, like they rewrote a core part of the Addams vibe.

And if she’s Morticia’s mom in this universe, does that mean we’re not getting the real Grandma Addams in future seasons?? Feels wrong to sideline such an iconic character.

Anyone else notice this switch up or care way too much about it like I do? 😅
