This one was a fairly unique challenge. The image is a photo mosaic so each piece consists of a few images. Without the surrounding context of the larger image, it’s very difficult to know where the piece goes. I used the reference image on the box to build out the continents first - the challenge here was how small the thumbnail photos are. Then i assembled the water purely by piece shape - first sorting the water pieces by shape. The water section wasn’t much different than doing a solid color puzzle. I paid very little attention to the pictures on the pieces once they had been sorted. |
