If you have a question or comment you can post in !meta@retrofed.com or message @DosDude@retrofed.com or @Die4Ever@retrofed.com

In case of downtime and/or emergency, we will post updates on @DosDude@mastodon.social

Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

This bash alias will check the weather in Amsterdam over Tor:

alias weathernl="curl -s --socks4a 127.0.0.1:9050 -A '' 'https://wttr.in/Amsterdam,Netherlands?lang=en&A'"

If your city name contains a space, just substitute with a ”+”:

curl -s --socks4a 127.0.0.1:9050 -A '' 'https://wttr.in/Los+Angeles,California?lang=en&A'

This is one of few websites that looks like garbage in a GUI browser but great in text. Remove --socks4a 127.0.0.1:9050 if you don’t have tor proxy installed.
