Hallo feddit.org!

(english version below)

Was ist 2025 passiert?

📸 Pixelfed launch: https://instapix.org/

Eure

Fediverse Foundation

Hello feddit.org!

The year is slowly drawing to a close. Time for a brief review and our call for the year-end fundraiser.

2025 - what went down?

📸 Pixelfed launched: https://instapix.org/

🔏 CryptPad started: https://docs.fediverse.foundation/

💶 Closed our PayPal account

👪 @baum@norden.social bolstering the infrastructure team!

🗨 Various upgrades, maintenance, and other tech mubo-jumbo

📚 An much more, check out: https://fediverse.foundation/blog/

💰 How are the finances looking?
As of the end of October, we still need about €1500 to stay in the black by the end of the year. That should just about work out. Anyone who participates in the fundraiser helps us ensure it's not so tight and that we can build a small buffer.

🙏 Fundraiser
From now on, when you donate (https://fediverse.foundation/spenden/), you can write in the purpose of payment why you think it's important to support the Fediverse Foundation and the Fediverse. We will publish the collected messages anonymously on our blog towards the end of the year.

💌 Thanks to everyone who participates, who uses and fills our instances with life, and indeed to everyone who makes the Fediverse what it is. You're the best, without you all of this would mean nothing.

All the best

Fediverse Foundation
