Dried up ticks look like raisins. But they do not taste like raisins. This shows the gap between our human perception and reality. The human mind cannot possibly see the world for what it really is. What we actually see and experience is just a vivid dream created by a lump of fat encased in a calcium can. We do not experience true reality, and the only way of actually seeing what is what is through altered perception. And even with that, we can only glimpse the true nature of reality. I hope one day there will be a conscious being advanced enough to see the world for what it is. A child of consciousness, the goal of evolution.

What do you think? Have you ever had a moment of clarity? A moment where you saw the world more clearly?
