Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

I’ve been using The Hideout, a lightweight web app where you can instantly make a private room to chat, study, or hang out with friends.

No accounts, no data collection, just a link you share.
It feels way cozier than Discord or Zoom for small groups.

If you want to host a study room or chill hangout, try it out here → joinhideout.vercel.app

Curious what themes or tools people would want in their “ideal room”? 👀
