I know, its old and slow. I was hoping to maybe utilize this laptop as a standalone emulator, since it has vga out and i can plug it right into my crt. However, its a turion x2 with a GeForce 8200m, 3gb ram and an ssd. So far ive only tried running flycast on it and it was a stutter fest. Linux mint is on it right now. I mainly did want to use it for dreamcast emulation as I have a lot of the other consoles in hardware form. Before I spend a bunch of time tinkering with gpu drivers to see if it will work, should I just give it away and get something better? |
