Let me start by saying that as a person unlucky enough to be born in the shithole United States, I completely agree with you. But, I do not believe that the 2024 election was legitimate. So we the actual people may or may not be responsible. Just keep that possibility in mind, and know that it is no excuse for why this bullshit continues. It's just my personal belief that the fascist oligarchs ...

Untrue. We paid extra to fund tax breaks for billionaires while food prices tripled and 1,206,374 people were laid off in order to keep those record profits going.

dont forget the aca enhanced subsidies ended, and people saw thier insurance double or tripled or more in premiums/deductibles.

I lost my job because of cuts in May. I haven't been able to find full time employment since. I'm not sure I'm going to recover.

both my brothers are in tech, one got laid of in '23 and stillhavnt found a job, although he is having a "personal crisis". and the other has been put on a bench "indefinitely" since they are using a recruiting company, they took him off projects with APPLE.

I was a developer. I've been getting project management certifications to career pivot. I would like to go back to tech, but I'm gaining skills to leave the industry. I can't survive another year without a full time job that pays moderately.

Those nice aspects were fake performances that only existed to obfuscate any suspicions that we might have been the bad guy all along. Now that everything is out in the light and our objectors have been proven right maybe we can be forced to change or be ostracized until we do. Our friends and allies are better off without us until then.

Those nice aspects were probably rose-tinted nostalgia of what we remeniscence the USA to be, the gallantrous saviour from Nazi-Germany. It took us 80 years to realize that that gallantry was only during WW2 and maybe not even then.

No no you're right. What's happening right now is so much better than having an Israel supporter for president. You saved the world.

No no you're right. What's happening right now is so much better than having an Israel supporter for president. You saved the world.

Yeah but the democrats weren't restraining Israel when they were in power despite clearly had the leverage (arms resupply).

They signalled to the voters they weren't holding them back. Indeed a great part of the slaughter happened under Biden watch.

If Trump wasn't around that alone would have ended Biden relection attempts.

The democrats did everything they could to find the worst postion on every single issue.

So yes I blame them when it should have been a fucking shoe in. They allowed the fascist to come to power due to their milquetoast acquiescence to their corporate and dark money benefactors.

Not to the people. They had sold out workers rights to the point where unions were bleeding out. And when a conman fascists came up claiming he would make it all better they had no way to tell people to stay the course with the democrats when the evidence was clear. Wages going down, workers rights in the fucking sewer, health issuance, housing and education across the country all trending down.

It was desperation of millions that they could neither voter for the democrats nor Trump. Which along with the republican cheating allowed them to secure the win.

And the democrat leadership is utterly lacking accountability for what they did.

Schumer, Jefferies, Pelosi, Harris, Buttigirg all knew the president was fucking senile and sick. He shouldn't have been in power much less running a relection campaign.

How they have not resigned for such a massive breach of trust is beyond me. It's fucking criminal.

And worse not pursing trump and putting him prison. Fuck me. They had every opportunity. Jesus, the man is a walking indictment. They had over 3 million files and 15 TB of videos which we know contain Trump and yet they did nothing!!

And now they won't even declare a general fucking strike.

How many more people must end up in concentration camps before they oppose Trump with everything they got????

The thing is, in any somewhat sane and precedented administration, the argument could reasonably have been made that some economic struggles, even a year in, were largely due to polices of the previous administration. The problem with this administration is, they literally did everything possible to fuck the economy up, pretty much from day one. Nearly every decision was a bad decision, which h...

It's true that the Democrats fucked up, but the people who chose trump over a not perfect choice are absolutely deserving of their share of the blame. Voters have agency themselves and should have been able to see what everyone else saw.

It's theoretically possible to pressure someone on our nominal side to change their stance on Israel, Trump would just laugh in our faces and increase the funding. It's not the fucking same.

The US doesn't have anything even approaching centre right, let alone left.

The lack of a proper left is why most Americans can't tell the difference between communism and socialism.

Although it would be extremely funny there's very little reason for any other countries to actually do that. Although if you have a degree in a relevant science area you might be accepted.

Perhaps you could pretend to be in a relationship with someone from a host country, a reverse green card plot.

They're looting it as it goes down. For example, Trump sued the federal government for the time his tax records were leaked; federal government - which he controls - settles with him for $$$$$.

Meanwhile, the ultra-rich are getting more tax breaks so they can get a bit richer. What do they care if the US fails? They probably have money stashed all over the world.

They have enough money that money doesn't matter. Making people for whom money does matter have less gives them more power.

They don't want to be rich in a developed capitalist country, they want to be lords in a feudal society. The average quality of life plummeting doesn't matter as long as the highest remains the same and they get more power.

Rose-tinted nostalgia that was purposely manufactured through pervasive mass-media and institutionalized propaganda. The US population has been heavily indoctrinated ever since the 1950s and the second Red Scare/McCarthyism.

People are nostalgic for something that didn't exist because they grew up on stories and teachings that were utter fabrications of events which overplayed the US's role in WW2 and downplayed the atrocities we committed to our own people and those abroad in our Imperialist quest to cement capitalism as the global economy and stifle the growing wave of communist sentiment that was on the rise during the early-to-mid 1900s.

Well, germanys economy is not solely reliant on exports to China, but they are significant nonetheless. Historically, we used to export a lot of cars to China, but ever since the EV boom german car manufacturers struggle because China heavily subsidizes its own car industry, making domestically produced cars much cheaper than the imported german ones. And technologically, China becomes ever more advanced so it increasingly doesn't need to import engineering equipment/machinery from germany as well.

But yeah, the decreasing exports are just one of many problems of germanys current economy.

Nuance. Two things can be true. We are doing this to ourselves, but not in a vacuum. And if you want to destroy a house, the best way isn't to send a man with a hammer, it's to give the kids inside a soccer ball and tell them their parents said "play ball!"

Countless terrible groups and people have been set loose with their own individual agendas and goals, yes, but that's as part of a greater plan whose only goal is to harm America and its interests and allies.

There's plenty of blame to share, I promise.
