I thought they were just applauding because a coherent politician that wasn’t threatening them. The bar is low right now.

They applauded the idea of re-colonization and complete subjugation of the global majority, don't give them the benefit of the doubt when they're literally threatening us please

Are you talking about the US threatening Europe, or Europe threatening the global majority?

The latter, Europe is part of NATO and they support and benefit from US imperialism, so them cheering isn't a surprise
