Timbaland is a music producer, Aaliyah is a singer who's famously dead. His attempts at some kind of necromancy are news though, he wasn't known for reviving the dead into Korean powergrid consciousness before.
Maybe he's a fan of the game Observer - the idea of uploading consciousness is part of the plot |
