The "fix our forests act" is a complete sham. The lumber industry is exploiting the fear of wildfires in order to clearcut public forests, wilderness is also targeted.
Boulder county is currently about to start one of these brain dead projects up in nederland, called the "middle boulder creek fuels reduction project". Its a shame that this project is happening since it will negatively affect fragile ecosystems for a false promise of wildfire safety.
