The 2 CPUs that stand out the most are the AMD Custom APU 0405/0932, these are used by the Steam deck and show how much these are used for gaming on Linux. It's also interesting to see people are still playing with Intel Core Duo's but also the large prevalence of AMD Ryzen series processors.

That's unlikely. It's far more likely that they are at the top simply because they are more popular. The only exception to this rule is the higher end 13th/14th gen Intel chips, which really do have a crashing problem. |

This is still mostly meaningless in practice. Not a single entry reaching even 3 digits, and only like 6 with double digits. The numbers are too small to draw any conclusions. |

Modded Minecraft crashes due to hardware instability are orders of magnitude less common than any other reason |

The crash screen has an "Upload" button on it. Which I'm pretty sure I've never clicked and I also have no idea where it uploads to. But given these logs are gathered from somewhere, I assumed there was something going on. I didn't suspect they were just maliciously scraping data and it would be opt in. |

The crash screen has an "Upload" button on it. Which I'm pretty sure I've never clicked and I also have no idea where it uploads to.  The data is collected from people manually submitting their logs for help, it is not automatically captured from the launcher or from the log site. So the shown CPU data doesn't include you. That is also the reason for the relatively small sample size. The main goal of the project is to develop something to automatically detect issues and potential solutions for common crashes. So far, the code is able to detect specific issues in about 40% of logs and able to extract things like thrown exceptions, Minecraft crash reports, Java runtime crash reasons, etc. |
