The petition closed in December, but it's still lazy online journalism not to link directly to it. Here's a direct link.

I'm convinced journalists are bad at citing sources on purpose. "A report from XYZ organisation says" is my personal pet peeve. YES JOURNALIST, WHICH ONE?

Imagine if that's how people cited sources in academic papers smh

Thank you for receiving my rant haha

In online journalism I'm convinced it's done to keep people on-site. A link might send them away where they won't click to see any more of your advertising.

I'm glad they included pretzels on the flag, that's definitely classic Brisbane

Oooh that's another one! This happening happened within the framework of an ongoing Event in The City.

"Event in the City" is an internal link to aaall articles with keyword "City" that don't have anything to do with the Event.
