With this basic information, he builds up an understanding of the stress that this species faces from climate change. He repeats this process for more species, gradually sussing out the general patterns across many species. “My goal is to derive an understanding about where and why certain species will be vulnerable or resilient to climate change so that we can tailor proactive management strategies for them,” he said.
