Read minds, because I’m nosy and also too clumsy for invisibility to be much benefit.

Invisibility sounds fun, especially if it includes whatever im holding/wearing (within reason)

mind reading sounds miserable, i already hear too much of other peoples conversations without intending to, i don't want to have their inner thoughts buzzing around in my head too.

Do you have dyspraxia?

Nope, I was just exaggerating these qualities as a joke, although I really am clumsy and curious :)

Girl, I didn't dye this hair and grow these boobs and lift those weights to be invisible.

Both of them are great methods for invading other peoples privacy, which isn't particularly a super power I want

I would imagine a very undesirable part of being a telepath is finding out things that you must act on because inaction would be unethical

Definitely be invisible. I talk all the time about my desire to literally fade into walls and out of rooms because I'm THAT kind of introvert.

Invisible for sure. I don't need to be constantly reminded that people think I'm a dick. /s

I don't even want to hear people talk out loud, let alone in their heads.

I wouldn't feel right reading other people's minds. Invasion of privacy. Not interested.

There are times I want to disappear. There were times I became so upset, distressed, or depressed, that I wanted to disappear, to vanish and become unable to be found. It a good thing I didn't have that power.

Most super powers are of little utility to normal people who live ordinary lives.

I think the practical value of reading minds would be greater than being invisible, it's just too much useful information (esp. important for threat assessment, etc.), but I think it would make me miserable - the burden of hearing other people's thoughts and knowing what I shouldn't know, etc. but it would also make it easier for me to approach social interactions with more strategic ability, and maybe most important to me: I would be a lot safer as I can anticipate and avoid dangerous people. (As an aside, an ability like this would probably make you very powerful and important, if you can read minds and nobody else can, you could probably accumulate major political power and wealth, etc.).

I think for my personality I would enjoy being able to be invisible far more, esp. to be able to be free from harassment in public, e.g. I could go places after-hours like a library and enjoy reading without fear of being kicked out or trespassed, I wouldn't have to worry about being criminalized for homelessness, I could just sleep wherever it is unlikely someone would touch or interact with (like the top of bookshelves or something). I would really enjoy invisibility personally, I think, even though I think it would be less useful than reading minds.

The freedom that I could get from invisibility would be more valuable to me than the power I would get from reading minds.

Invisible! It's my dream to haunt my friends and it's their dream to be haunted by me. This way I don't have to die first.

Invisibility seems like a good power for stealing enough from the wealthy to make a living, where mind reading could be useful for this but would require much more effort and invasion of privacy.

and how would you distinguish real thoughts from imagination? thinking something doesn't mean doing something, can be a fantasy

Invisibility all the way. It's basically 'do whatever you want'. No need to buy bus tickets! Shoplift all you want! Amazing prank potential! Disappear from awkward or dangerous situations!

And I think that reading people's minds would just be horrible for me, I don't want to know what people are thinking 95% of the time and when I would want to know, it'd be an invasion of their privacy.
