Funny ( not funny ) how fuel prices rise the moment there's conflict half the globe away.

Anyway, I have personal plates on one of my cars. 80LAX which might be pronounced Bollocks , and was my username on Reddit for about ten years ( Until a perm ban ) So at the weekend the front one was ripped off my bumper. I did have it pop riveted on for security, but they managed to get it off due to the bumper being plastic. They tried for the back one but that's on metal so no joy. The same weekend a plumber had his 7 letter plates stolen too. That's like a $3500 plate. I "only" have to pay $95 for replacements which isn't terrible I suppose.

The joys of parking up at the marina at Redland Bay. I'd say it's kids. Sadly tho there's heaps of break-ins and also car thefts around there. They target tradies vans and utes. Stealing a person's means of support is extremely scummy. I had that happen to me when I lived in Southport.

There's probably a D&D alignment I fit, but if someone knocks off some bloke's jetski or a campervan or their race car or some other luxury item it's definitely shitcunt behaviour but you can kind of defend it as the person thieving it might be desperate, blahblahblah, its only an object, insurance, etc.

But when someone knocks off tools of the trade that someone else needs to earn their living then to me that's a whole new level of shitcuntery. That's the one I actually get mad about.
