LAAAAAAAGGGGG

so lagggggg

Thanks for letting me know about this! I think I've fixed it (for now, at least) by optimizing away some bottlenecks. I'm overdue a server upgrade for the comments plugin, so if you continue to get problems, please let me know and I'll expedite the move to a larger server.

Thank you developer

"I understand that managing the platform can be chaotic, and linking the 'block' feature to automated shadowbans might have been an on-the-fly fail-safe to handle spam. However, tying those two mechanisms together is fundamentally flawed.

The block button exists solely as a personal curation tool—to give an individual user the choice to tune out what they don't want to see. It should have absolutely nothing to do with globally taming or limiting another user's ability to participate on the site. Turning personal blocks into automated, site-wide shadowbans defeats the purpose of an actual report system. In all fairness, these mechanisms need to be decoupled."
