Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-MT) was accused of breaking the hand of Marine veteran and anti-war activist Brian McGinnis.

During a break in a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Wednesday, McGinnis put his hand through a hole in the wall to prevent Capitol Police from removing him from the room.

A video recorded by another anti-war activist showed Sheehy getting in on the melee by grabbing McGinnis and attempting to force him through the doorway.

"His hand! His hand! Oh!" one onlooker shouted.

"The senator broke his hand!" someone else exclaimed.

"A US Senator just broke the hand of a Marine," another member of the audience yelled. "A US Senator just broke the hand of a Marine; you're a coward."

Sheehy turned and walked away without successfully dislodging McGinnis.

"Yeah, go f--- yourself," someone muttered.

Genuine [WARNING] if you are squeamish, as best I can tell, at least one bone in the Marine's forearm snapped, and this can be heard, and seen.

... Right before his arm snaps, (which did not seem to affect his ability to grip the door he was clinging to) he shouted "No one wants to die for Israel!"

I was mistaken, he did not, immediately prior to his arm snapping, say "No one wants to die for Israel!"

He said "No one wants to fight for Israel!'

Expected behavior from shady sheehy, all he cares about is himself. The guy lied about being shot so next he’ll probably say actually his hand was broken

The Sergeant of Marines had two bones broken in his arm yet still held on.
No such thing as a former Marine.

I have the highest respect for anyone serving their country that holds anti-war beliefs. This guy's on the right side of history.

Graduated from Quincy Senior High on a Saturday in early June 2000, and went to Marine boot camp the following Monday. Mama was not ready.

Did my one enlistment as a Light Armored Vehicle Crewman, an infantry MOS in the Corps, until June 2004.

Highlights:

-Six months on a Med Float on the USS Wasp in 2002, established a training ground in Djibouti, Africa.

-Deployed for the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 and traveled extensively across the country.

-Made the All-Marine boxing team later in 2003 until the end of enlistment, tried out the year prior, but broke my hand in the tryouts.

Not his first rodeo with broken bones, evidently.

Pretty fucking bad, I fucking flinched and wretched, had to turn it off, the first time.

Not military related, but I've got PTSD, wooo not fun not fun.

That sent me into like a 3 hour long fit, had to step away and just ... try to not explode/feint for a while.

Never had anything but contempt for Kirk, but Jesus Christ that was horrific to watch.
