These people are delusional.
This has been a blind spot for me, I simply can't withstand extended reading about Washington internal politics, so I assumed they might actually listen to some of the less ideological (well, that is the wrong way to describe the delusions of "realists" and Trump-wary neocons lol) security briefings over the Israelis. I think they were more focused on making money and insensitive to the industrial realities, and of course those ideological blinders need to be real for the empire to run, not just an act. Makes me think of some of the fanciful writing about capital as a Lovecraftian entity people worship unaware it plans to eat them. So, they chose the briefings they thought suited their gambling ambitions rather than taking the risks seriously? Maybe at this point they just want to Nordstream Europe yet again and damage Iran's development as much as possible? I might be less keen on the blackmail/tail wags the dog thing than most people but once you understand the history + widespread nature of it, seems less like a one-way puppeteering operation and more a way to bind together the self-interests of ruling class cliques. |

Their delusional are delusions of grandeur, like a mentality of the mass shooters glutting on blood, revelling in being known, but they anticipate being caught and punished; these mammon-worshippers know the odds of their having repercussions for their bloodlust and greed are extremely slim.
Yes, exactly, and by and large, the USian masses, whether they believe the lies or not, simply don't care, they either have very real struggles and no time or skill to seek out more honest media sources, and fear retribution, or in the upper middle class and above can't gaf less about their fellow citizens dying in the streets, as long as they have their treats. Some of those and even the lower classes engage in human and drug trafficking to have their preferred treats, while also acknowledging how bad the slavery era and prison industrial complex are! It's particularly vile.
I think so. Hungry ghosts.
One ring to bind them all? I don't know if they're even human, anymore. They've certainly abandoned any concept of humanity in the cold empty void where a heart should beat. |

Gotta love how the only outcomes they're concerned about is how this will affect the price of oil. Nothing else matters in the slightest. |

They should be more concerned with the money getting blown up with fucking bombs than short-terms returns but we would never have gotten here if that was possible. |

Well I really hope younger Americans quickly recognize that gaining the imperialism-fueled financial advantages of their parents isn't just politically impossible due to partisan infighting and cruelty, it is against the grain of capitalism itself. |

I hope so, too. Have you ever seen this? Thanks to Betsy DeVos (Eric Prince's sister) and Linda McMahon public schools are gutted, private schools sure aren't teaching anything but the rich, white, racist narrative, especially ACE (Accelerated Christian Education, which ironically also shares the acronym with Adverse Childhood Experiences) is more prevalent https://www.christian.education/ace But now that it's mask-off-mask-off-mask-off, material conditions are rapidly disintegrating, so maybe the current generation will experience a thunderbolt of awareness. 🎲🎲 |

Oh thanks I have read about the southern strategy but I didn't have a video to send people, and I try to keep in mind that's the only thing that will work for most. Best to give it to them as explicitly and "in their own words" as achievable with whatever is on hand or not even bother. I have actually been in some protracted overseas arguments about the US education system versus Vietnam lately. My aunt was saying that post-covid environment made it impossible to teach "black and brown kids" + family was trying to pass this off as not racist & refusing to speak to her is turning into this protracted siege. Led to all kinds of topics like "black women superintendents and teacher union heads are the real problem" 😂 so we are far off from convincing them socialist education is good because teachers can fire students... pretty sure that is the only point they absorbed. Things spiraled into a whole discussion of property taxes factoring into education quality, the de facto continuation of redlining, and property values + retirements as a way to tie the fortunes of workers in the core (don't worry I don't weigh them down with that terminology) to the imperialist debt traps. Anyways long tangent I know but I mean this is very timely and helpful. So it really is a battle of iphone vs material conditions in these classrooms. I think illiteracy is gonna win. It's kind of a nuke. Never believed in the "I don't need to read Marx's Capital I've got the marks of capital on me" stuff—suffering has definitely made me stupider. Anyways you will never catch me complaining about something akin to Thankgiving table USonian argumentation again. I forgot to mention she is a Zionist so I needed a good excuse anyways. |

Well, taking to you maybe hasn't made me more intelligent, but I'm definitely more informed! I'm glad I could give some pittance for the mountains of treasure you've shared with me. I hope it's helpful! I gotta sleep. Let me know how it goes, but I suspect they'll only get more angry because of it. Illiteracy may win the game; hopefully material conditions win the set, and socialism take match. I don't know jack about tennis, I think I have an extra player in there... 😂 |

If you want to learn more about tennis I recommend Infinite Jest. 🤓 We gotta keep digging this stuff up, the CIA spent trillions on keeping us misinformed. Not to mention the alternative media has a lot of sway with semi-peripheral and peripheral countries. I only just got my hands on good material about the political economy of the media a year ago & none of the people posting about it in Enflish to a smattering of followers seem to care about notifying folks about what they've allowed into their midst. At a bare minimum I can repost this stuff & try to share my perspective. I still have a lot of the longer-form stuff I need to add to it saved. To be honest I haven't explained enough about what I post here at all! I appreciate the kind words of course & remember to get potassium and magnesium (🤓), I always got annoyed that multivitamins in the US lacked that & grocery stores only stocked ineffective magnesium oxide. Helps me sleep, and of course dreams give us power. |

Until you mentioned it, I don't recall having heard of it. I searched it up, and it was a best seller?! I may need to find a physical copy, if you say it's worth reading, so...is it?
The United States won't be able to do this without dollar and military hegemony. They are very much in an existential battle. It doesn't matter to the billionaire class; they will simply pour funds into the next pliable government. But I think it's worth it if only a handful of regular people at a time get a clue. An avalanche is often begun with a small slide. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are one person and doing a lot of fantastic work. All I do is repost what I learn and talk to anyone who will listen. They're few, lol. I'll work on the magnesium. I eat plenty of oranges, so potassium is probably ok. Do you recommend a particular brand of magnesium supplements? |

If we were smart we'd use this opportunity to build up renewable energy infrastructure and wean ourselves off oil. Western countries would see, if not the moral depravity of the invasion, at the very least the economic threat of the oil market and try to move away from it. But we're not. Instead other oil producers like Canada will see dollar signs and ramp up their ecological exploitation to cash in on the crisis. Only to inevitably be completely unprepared when the oil market crashes again. |
