Etymology

From Proto-Finnic *üles. Equivalent to ylä-/yle- (“upper, above”) +‎ -s (s-lative singular), with labialization from dialectal yles.

I have a hard time pronouncing ylös, it keeps being recognized as ulos. So the lesson, Ponit nousevat ylös, ends up being Ponit nousevat ulos.
