Residents of any countries, states or territories that require age verification
for operating systems, are not authorized to use MidnightBSD. This list currently includes
Brazil, effective March 17, 2026, California, effective January 1, 2027, and
will include Colorado, Illinois and New York provided they pass their currently
proposed legislation. We urge users to write their representatives to get
these laws repealed or replaced.

This shit should have people way more alarmed-- blanket age verification to use any computer.

Blanket tracking of users is what it really is.

By the time people are aware of how these changes effect their life it will be too late. These are back end changes that most of the time, won't cause even a small level of inconvenience.

We are cooked. Just cooked. By the time enough people will have the drive to protest they won't be able to.
